Working with their in-house marketing team, we set up meetings with their development team to address canonical linking, secure HTTPS links, and other on-page issues that held back SEO performance. Furthermore, we audited the website content and made strategic location and keyword changes to help boost rankings.
We had to rebuild the Google Ads account from scratch. The toughest challenge was working with OpenTable and OLO to accurately report on the success of our ad campaigns.

The Results
Starting in January 2018, every month of SEO traffic was significantly higher than the previous year.
Working together, our team was able to drastically improve the restaurant’s search traffic compared to the prior calendar year.
The biggest achievement was the reduction in cost of OpenTable reservations from ad spend. Through optimization of keywords and ad copy we got Google Ads down from a $54/reservation to $2.79/reservation. With the integration of better tracking and an average table receipt of $120, the ROI on this campaign paid for additional ad campaigns for special offers and email blasts.
