The Challenge
IBT Inc. was looking for a faster, more responsive website that would improve the SEO performance of the website, while also updating to a more modern design that would better showcase their brands and products with more motion and animation.
Since the existing WordPress site had years of plugin changes the database was fully bloated MySQL tables and their was unneeded JavaScript code slowing the site site speed. They needed more than a simple SEO plugin, they needed an entirely new installation built from the ground up. This was the only way to fix “DNA-level” SEO issues.
The Solution
Our mission was to recode the current design from a custom CMS to WordPress – thus making the site more manageable for their in-house needs. During our development phase, we delivered a custom theme with added functionality for them to add and track brand impressions across their partners.
We reimaged a new design and built their website with a light weight WordPress theme and Elementor. The WordPress CMS was better adapted for UX than the previous design. Additionally, their SEO core web vitals were better and faster than their previous system. Our scope also focused heavily on making a website that could handle a large amount of traffic and improve the internal linking and indexation before launching the website.

We spent a considerable amount of time building the architecture for the database so pages would have proper schema markup and meta data on the page.
Post-launch, we saw the new website increase Organic Search traffic by 52% in the first 30 days. We auditing Google Search Console (GSC) data Google reported a 45% increase in the number of ties the website appeared on search engine results page (SERP).
